Internship
Saturday, September 6, 2008 by NasirI arrived at the Porto airport on September first. After exploring a while found the metro. Buying a metro ticket for the first time can be very tricky, but fear not there is always someone who will help you with it.
Once arrived at Porto’s train station it was a matter of buying new tickets and aboard the train. I reached Coimbra after approximate one hour and the taxi drove for about ten minutes and there was I, at the front gate of Critical Software building.
After the welcoming we drove to the apartment. However we didn’t stay there just dropped the luggage and went to a restaurant. The food was great.
At work, the main task was getting familiar with the working environment and reading various guidebooks and procedures. After work, exploring Coimbra is the only thing I did.
The people at Critical Software are truly nice and very friendly. The local folks are also very friendly. That’s why I feel very comfortable here.
Today I will just take it easy. The Red Bull Air Race is scheduled for tomorrow in Porto so guess what I will be doing tomorrow.

Hi Nasir.
This is a pretty great first entry on your blog.
Below are some suggestions / feedback from my point of view.
- Use we instead of I. You were not alone in doing some of these things.
- Be mindful of words missing mid-sentence. For example: “However we didn’t stay there just dropped the luggage and went to a restaurant.”
I’ve send you a correction by e-mail however maybe you should try finding mistakes by yourself before you use it.
Cheers,
Arjan

Hi Nasir,
It’s very nice to read your blog. Please write every day (or every other day).
I agree with Arjan. If you are not sure about writing correct English, do consult an on line dictionary. You will learn more if you do. But please do write more often, so I can follow you both.
Bye for now,
Have a nice time,
Send my greetings to Arjan,
Ger
